Every massage chair listing in India reads the same: 4D rollers, zero gravity, SL track, AI body scan, heat. Those words describe parts. They say nothing about whether the shoulder rollers land on your shoulders, whether the calf airbags squeeze too hard for your mother, or whether the leg rest is long enough for someone who is six feet tall.

Those are the questions that decide whether a chair becomes a daily habit or a very expensive clothes stand. And they only get answered in the chair. Not by a video, not by a review, and not by a salesperson reading the brochure to you.

• Bring the person who will use the chair most. A chair that fits you may not fit your father, and the reverse happens just as often.
• Wear loose, comfortable clothes. Stiff jeans and a belt change how the seat and the hip airbags feel.
• Do not come straight from a heavy meal. A massage on a full stomach is uncomfortable in any chair, ours included.
• Give yourself 45 minutes to an hour if you want to compare two or three models properly.
• Measure the spot at home before you come: the width of the doorway and the space behind the chair. We will tell you exactly how much room each model needs when it reclines.

Start the body scan first and check where the rollers stop at your neck. If they press into the base of your skull or sit below your shoulder blades, the chair does not fit you, and nothing else on the spec sheet will fix that.

Then recline into zero gravity in the middle of a program. The pressure on your back should get noticeably deeper as your weight shifts onto the rollers. Turn the intensity one step past comfortable and back again, so you know the range. Switch on the heat and give it two or three minutes. Finally, take your shoes off and try the foot section, because that is where cheap chairs are most obviously cheap.

Doing this in two chairs back to back is the fastest way to understand the difference between a 3D and a 4D mechanism. You will feel it in the first minute, and you will know whether the extra money matters to you.

Separately from the demo, we run a free relaxation session every Friday. It is exactly what it sounds like: come in, sit down, and use the chairs and leg massagers for a while.
